Q. How do I hire a veteran or military spouse?

Q. Can I search your database of candidates?

Talents ASCEND understands how important your time is. Unlike traditional job boards, Talents ASCEND offers a concierge service and AI skills-matching that streamlines the hiring process. After our proprietary AI matches candidates on skills, location and salary, the CAM will engage and conduct the initial interview on your behalf so you spend time only with candidates who are the right fit, right now.

Q. How can I ensure that veterans and military spouses will see my listing?
A.
Once activated, the CAM will have the listing completed within an hour and matches will happen instantly. The CAM will engage with each match immediately by messaging them through our platform. We will promote your listing on social media and throughout our extensive network.

Q. How much does a job listing cost?
A. Far less than job boards and traditional staffing agencies. The Talents ASCEND concierge skills-matching platform offers a payment plan structure for the fee of 7% of the first year salary. One third as a retainer, one third upon receiving candidates and the final third, 30 days after hire. 

Q. Do I get a tax credit for hiring veterans?
A. The Work Opportunity Tax Credit is available for hiring veterans, diversely abled, justice-impacted and other underserved talent. Read our blog and visit the Department of Labor for more information.

Q. What payment options are available with the Talents ASCEND concierge skills-based service?
A. We utilize PayPal as additional security and payment plan options. We also offer invoicing for ACH payments. Your package will be activated upon receipt of payment and after completing an intake with a Concierge Acquisition Manager (CAM). Until this step is completed, your job will not be listed on our platform.

Q. No candidates have been sent to me for an interview. Is my listing matching correctly?
A. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a candidate matched with a career will be responsive or interested. This process is contingent upon candidate responsiveness and interest after matching on skills, location and salary. Your CAM will send a bi-weekly status report to show you the number of matches, candidates interested and interviews conducted. We rely on your active feedback from interviews to make adjustments as necessary.
